More Good News on 1st Time Buyer Tax Credit

I have some good news on the First Time Buyer Tax Credit. I just got off the phone with my tax professional and she was able to answer a question for me. You can take the $8,000 dollar first time buyer tax credit on this years (2008) return.
If you have already filed your 2008 tax return make sure to check in with your tax preparer and take advantage of this. Keep in mind that at this time you can’t e-file for this tax credit.
Check back here in a day or two for details on the California State tax credit on new construction. It’s a great program for anyone looking at buying a brand new home.
